patch_sync: Use upstream branches, not mirrors
At present, on the automation system that runs patch_sync, we
check out the main branch for AOSP & CrOS as a mirror locally.
However, this leads to issues where the local mirror will detach
from remote, and causes rebase conflicts that shouldn't happen.
This patch makes us check out the remote in a detached state,
which will update with the repo sync.
