At the same time, the OWNERS file has been changed
to reference the common OWNERS file for the correct
team.
The project is related to the reference Location Time Zone
Provider (LTZP) in platform/packages/modules/GeoTZ.
This project is a mirror of the upstream project where the
reference/example data for time zone geo-mappings come from.
The GeoTZ example may always be able to take the
release files directly from the upstream, but this
project was imported in case we needed to make local
changes to the data generation process, or we wanted
to have a more complete data generation chain, i.e.
rather than taking the geo data release files from
upstream, we could generate them ourselves by running the
scripts (though this would still involve pulling data from
OSM, etc.)
